Jet-Setting Vanessa Hudgens: "The X Factor" Host?

Readying up for an outbound flight, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (December 5).

Looking to be battling chapped lips, the "Sucker Punch" actress strolled into the terminal keeping warm with a winter scarf before disappearing past the security checkpoint.

The jet-setting adventure comes amidst reports claiming that Miss Hudgens and boyfriend Zac Efron are being courted to be hosts of the US version of "The X Factor".

Apparently, Simon Cowell has decided having Dermot O'Leary on the show would make for too many Brits - which has switched his focus to Zanessa.

A source said, "There could only be Simon and an absolute maximum of one other Brit on the show. He wants that Brit to be Cheryl [Cole]. Dermot will be completely distraught. He spent months in America lobbying to get this job. He held out a lot of hope. But he can't compete with Zac and Vanessa. They are two of the biggest stars in the States and will make American X Factor the biggest show in the world."

And while this is Cowell's desire, it's still up in the air, as the insider added, "They are more popular than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with under-30s in America. They're in huge demand and would have to turn down a lot of work in order to do this."
